Bertoia Bench - Indoor
This simple design was the first piece of furniture created by Harry Bertoia for Knoll. Although the bench does not have the signature wire grid of his seating collection, the welded wire base shows an early exploration of the material and foreshadows what was to follow. The bench also makes a great coffee table. Outdoor version is also available.

Product Description
Harry Bertoia’s 1950 experiment with bending metal rods into practical art produced a revered collection of seating, including the elegant bench. Innovative and strikingly handsome, the bench consists of wood slats spanning a metal frame. A half-century has passed since Harry Bertoia first began to experiment with his favorite medium. Today, the Bertoia collection remains a symbol of ingenuity and creative spirit.
