Product Description
This chair distills Jonathan Muecke's sculptural methodology into functional form, employing cylindrical dowels as both structural framework and conceptual statement. The overlapping joinery system deliberately exposes wood's complete material vocabulary—grain, end grain, and structural logic—rejecting any aesthetic concealment. Each dowel intersection reinforces the designer's conviction that authentic materials require no disguise, inviting continuous visual and tactile engagement with the wood's inherent properties.
