Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio is a master of saying a lot with a little. His Klismos Armchair (2022) melds organic beauty with careful craftsmanship. Inspired by the classic Klismos chairs of ancient Greece, the armchair can fit comfortably around a dining table or be used as a dramatic accent chair in a living area or hall.

Product Description
Contrasting solid and airy woven materials – cotton cord knotted onto a gently curved oak frame with tapered legs – create a striking silhouette with inviting ease. Or choose a solid-oak backrest instead of a cord back, which casts an equally dynamic form.
Inspired by the classic klismos chairs of ancient Greece, the armchair can fit comfortably around a dining table or be used as a dramatic accent chair in a living area or hall. The slender, removable leather cushion can be placed on the seat for added comfort. Made in Italy.
