Product Description

The Eames Hang-It-All, originally released in 1953, exemplifies the Eameses' belief in taking pleasure seriously. Made with a sturdy steel frame and cast-glass spheres, this colorful coat rack was created using the same technique for simultaneously welding wires that Charles and Ray developed for their low tables and wire chairs.

The Eames Hang-It-All comes pre-assembled and includes hanging hardware, so you only need to drill holes into the wall to install it. Installation involves marking the wall, locating studs or using drywall anchors, drilling pilot holes, and securing the rack using the provided screws.

The Herman Miller Eames Hang-It-All has a maximum weight capacity of 50 pounds (approx. 22.7 kg) for the entire unit, with each individual hook capable of holding up to 10 pounds (approx. 4.5 kg). This maximum is valid as long as the unit is properly mounted to a wall with the provided hardware.

Overall unit capacity: 50 lbs (22.7 kg)
Individual hook capacity: 10 lbs (4.5 kg)

Important: Distribute the weight evenly. For example, if you have five hooks each holding 10 lbs, do not add more weight to the unit, as this would exceed the 50 lb total capacity.
