By using a 3-D veneer molding process, we're now able to offer the iconic one-piece Eames® shell in warm wood, as the designers wished. The counter-height stool base is slender and minimal, and works well in casual dining areas such as kitchen islands.

Charles Eames (Charles Eames, Jr.) and Ray Eames (Ray-Bernice Eames) were influential American industrial designers known for their groundbreaking work through the Eames Office. Born in 1907, Charles studied architecture at Washington University before partnering with Robert Walsh in a prominent firm.
