Charles Eames (Charles Eames, Jr.) and Ray Eames (Ray-Bernice Eames) were influential American industrial designers known for their groundbreaking work through the Eames Office. Born in 1907, Charles studied architecture at Washington University before partnering with Robert Walsh in a prominent firm.
