Product Description
The 1966 Collection Dining Chai Designed by Richard Schultz for Florence Knoll’s home in Florida, the 1966 Collection (originally called the Leisure Collection), was the first outdoor furniture collection that enthusiasts of modern design could describe as “a breath of fresh air.” The clean lines, scale, and proportions were all carefully considered to stay relevant with changing design aesthetics. Engineered to incorporate the best modern materials for durability, the collection’s elegance and silhouette were not compromised, maintaining a strong architectural presence in any outdoor environment.

About
Knoll 1966 Collection

For half a century, Richard Schultz has been designing outdoor furniture, first at Knoll, where he assisted Harry Bertoia and developed his own lines, and after 1972 as a freelancer.

He later launched his own collection that included his reissued Knoll classics, including the Petal Table and Leisure Line chaise on wheels, plus new designs such as the Café 2000 Chair and Topiary Chair.

1966 is a refined series that brings the clean lines and balanced proportions of indoor modern furniture to outdoor living.
