Product Description

Design that transforms the notion of what executive seating can be with its sculptural form and modern finishing, the Saarinen Executive Chair features a molded, reinforced polyurethane back shell and a contoured plywood seat form and a 5-star base with casters features 360 degree swivel, tilt with tilt tension, and pneumatic seat height adjustment.

Designer

Eero Saarinen

Eero Saarinen was a Finnish-American architect and designer known for his sculptural approach to modern design. Working closely with Knoll, he created iconic furniture such as the Tulip Chair and Saarinen Dining Table, which eliminated the “slum of legs” beneath tables and chairs. Saarinen also designed landmark buildings including the Gateway Arch and the TWA Flight Center, leaving a lasting impact on both architecture and furniture design. See more
