This chair distills Jonathan Muecke's sculptural methodology into functional form, employing cylindrical dowels as both structural framework and conceptual statement. The overlapping joinery system deliberately exposes wood's complete material vocabulary—grain, end grain, and structural logic—rejecting any aesthetic concealment.
