The Invention of Outdoor Leisure Furniture

Founded in 1945 by California native Robert Brown, Brown Jordan pioneered the idea that outdoor furniture could stand up to the elements while still being beautifully made — "a new kind of leisure furniture" at a time when the category barely existed. Nearly eight decades and over 50 design awards later, Brown Jordan's pieces sit in the White House Rose Garden, the Ritz Paris, and the Smithsonian. The brand continues to work with designers including Ann Marie Vering and Richard Frinier. Brown Jordan's collections are available in Western Canada exclusively through Livingspace.
