A Family of Leather Craftsmen

Founded in 1990 in Lurago d'Erba by Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti, Baxter grew from generations of family expertise in saddle-making into one of Italy's most distinctive furniture brands. That heritage still defines the collection today — leather remains Baxter's founding material, sourced from traditional Tuscan and Venetian tanneries and worked with the same hand-craft sensibility as a saddle. Paolo Bestetti continues to lead the brand's design direction, with pieces available in Western Canada exclusively through Livingspace.
