In his groundbreaking collection of 1957, Eero Saarinen transformed executive seating into a fluid, sculptural form. With its clean profile and contoured back, the Saarinen Executive chair fits seamlessly in work, conference, lounge and dining applications. The chair is available with or without arms and in a bar and counter height stool.

Designer

Eero Saarinen

Eero Saarinen was a Finnish-American architect and designer known for his sculptural approach to modern design. Working closely with Knoll, he created iconic furniture such as the Tulip Chair and Saarinen Dining Table, which eliminated the “slum of legs” beneath tables and chairs. Saarinen also designed landmark buildings including the Gateway Arch and the TWA Flight Center, leaving a lasting impact on both architecture and furniture design. See more
