Product Description
Designed by the Danish-Italian duo GamFratesi for Louis Poulsen in 2017, the Yuh lamp initially debuted in black and white and later expanded to include brass and marble editions. One of its key features is its personal adaptability, offering flexible lighting that occupies minimal space. The lamp can rotate, rise, and lower to illuminate and create ambiance in any desired area, its shade geometrically shaped to mirror its movement along the stem. With a minimalist aesthetic transitioning from a circular base to a linear opening at the top, Yuh derives its name phonetically from "you," reflecting its user-focused design philosophy.
The fixture provides primarily glare-free downward-directed light, with an adjustable shade angle for optimized light distribution. A slim opening at the top offers soft ambient upward illumination. A mechanical system ensures excellent maneuverability, allowing the light to be positioned ideally in workspaces or living rooms. Built-in LED technology delivers high-quality light with stepless dimming from 100% to 15%, complemented by an optional timer that automatically switches off after 4 or 8 hours and resumes at the last dim level upon activation. A convenient switch and dimmer button at the top of the tube enhances ease of use.
