When the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman was introduced in 1956, there was nothing like it, and there is still nothing to equal it. A universally recognized form, the set is available in Maharam Mohair Supreme, a 100 percent mohair textile, which hugs the creases and folds of the upholstery pattern beautifully and adds a luxurious feel to this iconic design. Both the chair and ottoman are hand-assembled with great attention paid to the details and cushions are individually upholstered and replaceable.

  • The oiled walnut and oiled Santos Palisander finishes will need to be maintained with periodic hand oiling, whereas the lacquered finish requires nothing more than dusting
  • Chair has a 5-star black-enameled base with polished aluminum trim. Ottoman has a 4-star black-enameled base with polished aluminum trim
  • The seat is permanently titled to take the weight off your lower spine and distribute it properly to the back of the chair
  • Both chair and ottoman have 6' thick foam cushions
  • The lighter the stain, the more visible the grain will be
