Livingspace introduces Supermoon, the centerpiece of your modern interiors by Minotti Italy

Set against a modernist backdrop with Seventies influences, Supermoon combines elegance, formal innovation, and ultimate comfort.

Supermoon was conceived as a standalone, nomadic piece, yet it can transform into a true modular system.

The design of its backrests and armrests—evocative of lunar phases—serves as the system’s defining motif. These curved forms, along with the seat cushions and marble or wood tops, are elegantly integrated into the upholstered base, which rests on a sleek, floating metal frame.

About the designer

The collaboration between Minotti and Giampiero Tagliaferri, an architectural and interior designer with studios in Los Angeles and Milan, begins in 2024. His design philosophy draws on his deep connection to both cities, merging the refinement of 20th-century Italian design with the laid-back modernism of Southern California.

This creates a unique blend of Milanese balance—ornament and restraint, splendor and subtlety—combined with Californian simplicity, understated elegance, and a sensual interplay of light, color, and landscape. The result is a design language that aligns seamlessly with Minotti’s sophisticated aesthetic.
