Our order process varies depending on the brand, product, availability, and delivery method.

For in-stock items, orders typically ship from our Vancouver warehouse within 3–5 business days if your delivery address is within 30 km, or if you are outside this area and select Express Shipping when available at checkout.

All other orders are considered made-to-order and may have lead times ranging from 1–16 weeks, depending on the manufacturer. We’ll place the order with the manufacturer on your behalf, and the item will ship from their facilities either directly to you or to our Vancouver warehouse, depending on the delivery method. Once the manufacturer provides an estimated arrival date, we’ll update you with the latest information.

Yes. Full-price purchases made through our online store are eligible for a price adjustment within 7 days of the original purchase date. If the same item goes on sale during that period, we’ll refund the difference to your original payment method.

Yes. Orders placed through livingspace.com may be changed or cancelled within 72 hours of the original purchase date.

Shipping rates and delivery times depend on your location, product availability, brand, and delivery method.

For addresses within 30 km of our Vancouver warehouse, in-stock items are typically dispatched within 3–5 business days. Local delivery is $25 for orders under $250 and free for many orders over $250, although oversized, outdoor, and select products may have additional delivery fees.

For addresses beyond 30 km from our Vancouver warehouse, most orders are treated as made-to-order and ship directly from the manufacturer. Standard shipping starts at $25 for orders under $250. Many Herman Miller products over $250 ship free by Standard Shipping, while other furniture categories may be charged a percentage of the product price or a flat rate depending on the item and destination. Express Shipping is available for select products at an additional charge.

Remote delivery surcharges may apply to locations 120 km or more outside major urban centres, and we will contact you before applying any additional charges.

Most made-to-order products have estimated lead times of 1–16 weeks, depending on the manufacturer. Product-specific availability and estimated lead times are listed on each product page.

Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you by email to arrange delivery or pickup.

Free in-store pickup is available from our Vancouver showroom.

Since our inventory is stored off-site, please allow 1–2 business days for us to prepare your order before pickup. Our showroom team will have your order ready when you arrive and can assist with loading if needed.

Tracking depends on how your order is being delivered.

For orders shipped by courier, we’ll email you a tracking number once your order has been fulfilled and is on its way.

Larger items and most made-to-order products are shipped through designated freight carriers. In these cases, the carrier or our logistics team will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time once your order reaches the appropriate stage of transit.

Made-to-order products are first shipped from the manufacturer to the freight carrier’s warehouse. This transit typically takes about 15–20 business days. Once your order arrives at the carrier’s warehouse, the carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery date and time.

With Local Delivery and Domestic Shipping, your order will be delivered to the front door of your house or apartment whenever access allows. In buildings with restricted access, the order will be left at the closest safe and accessible location. If you have a preferred delivery location, please leave a note when placing your order.

With White Glove Delivery, our team will bring your order into the designated room and take appropriate care to protect your home and property. On the day of delivery, our team will contact you upon arrival.

Yes. White Glove Delivery is available for most products and includes in-home delivery, unpacking, assembly, placement in your preferred room, and removal of packaging for recycling.

Delivery is scheduled in advance and is available Monday to Friday between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Yes. Most courier deliveries do not require a signature by default, but you can request signature service by leaving a note at checkout.

Additional fees may apply. If there is a charge, our team will contact you with the courier’s quote before adding the service.

Please inspect the packaging before accepting your delivery whenever possible. We also recommend taking photos of the packaging before opening it, even if there are no visible signs of damage.

If the packaging or product is damaged, or if the item is defective, please take photos or videos, and contact us at online@livingspace.com within 48 hours of receipt. Our team will review the issue and assist with replacement arrangements.

Damaged products are generally replaced rather than refunded. Please note that replacement items may be subject to the original manufacturer lead time.

Please contact us at online@livingspace.com before sending anything back, as all returns must be pre-authorized. Please include your order number and the item you would like to return in your email. Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to the sender.

Made-to-order items cannot be changed, returned, or cancelled more than 72 hours after the original purchase date.

In-stock and ready-to-ship items may be returned within 7 days of receipt, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging.

Eligible in-stock and ready-to-ship items may be exchanged within 7 days of receipt, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and include all original packaging.

Please contact us at online@livingspace.com before returning your item, as all exchanges must be pre-authorized. Include your name, order number, and the item you would like to exchange in the email.

Return shipping costs associated with exchanges are the customer's responsibility and are non-refundable.

If the replacement item is discontinued or no longer available, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative. If an appropriate replacement cannot be provided, a refund may be issued to your original payment method.

Once an approved return is received and inspected, any eligible refund will be issued to your original payment method.

• In the rare event that a made-to-order item is approved for return, a 20% restocking fee may apply.
• In-stock items are exempt from restocking fee.
• Items returned in an unsellable condition may also be subject to additional charges.
• Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

Please note that refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
