28.11 is a random configuration of eleven 28 pendants hung from a round, square or rectangle canopy. The drop lengths of the pendants are randomized between a client specified range of heights to variously cluster and scatter. The result is an ambient installation or field of light. Individual 28 pendants result from a complex glass blowing technique whereby air pressure is intermittently introduced into and then removed from a glass matrix which is intermittently heated and then rapidly cooled. The result is a distorted spherical shape with a composed collection of imploded inner shapes, one of which acts as a shade for the light source.

* All 28 series pendants are handmade objects and little bubbles or irregularities are a normal and celebrated feature of the process. 

PLEASE NOTE: shortest and longest lengths must be provided and are recommended to be at least 12″ (300mm) apart to create an optimum cascade. Bocci will create a random selection of lengths throughout the minimum and maximum range provided.
