Founded in 1998 in Vancouver, Solus Decor designs, casts, and ships concrete fire pits, water features, and fireplace surrounds, built by a team of roughly 20 artisans and designers. Using an ultra-high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete rated to 10,000 psi, Solus achieves thin-walled, sculptural forms rare for the material. The company has grown to studios in the UK and Valencia, Spain, with close to 9,000 installations shipped to over 30 countries. Solus Decor's fire bowls and water features are available in Western Canada exclusively through Livingspace.
