Introducing Patkau Lighting at Livingspace
Discover Patkau Lighting – Exclusive Designer Lighting
We are excited to present Patkau lighting, a sculptural collection of luminous design pieces now available at the Livingspace showroom. Crafted by Patkau Studio, these fixtures represent an intersection of architectural thinking and exquisite material expression, where light is shaped with intention rather than simply emitted.

A Legacy of Thoughtful Design
Founded in 1978 by partners John and Patricia Patkau, Patkau Architects has spent more than four decades exploring how form, material, context, and experience come together in architecture and design.
While widely celebrated for award-winning buildings, cultural institutions, residences, and urban projects, Patkau’s design research also extends to smaller-scale explorations, including furniture and lighting.
Minima Lightform 1
Minima Lightform 1 distills light to its purest expression. A delicate interplay of silhouette and glow, this design creates a soft, atmospheric presence while remaining visually light and unobtrusive. It’s perfectly suited to spaces defined by restraint and clarity, a quiet statement in thoughtful lighting.
Minima Lightform 2
Minima Lightform 2 continues the exploration of minimal form and ambient light. With subtle shifts in proportion and scale, it offers a refined architectural presence that complements contemporary interiors without overpowering them. Light that feels intentional, calm, and enduring.
Minima Lightform 3
Minima Lightform 3 is a graceful table lamp that blends luminosity with poise. Its sinuous form, the “minimum” 3D surface between two 2D curves, casts a soft, atmospheric glow. Made from a proprietary paper pulp composite, its light filters gently through a diaphanous, handcrafted skin. Each lamp is carefully made by hand at Patkau Studio in Vancouver.
Patkau lighting is more than illumination, it’s thoughtful design that shapes the way a space is felt, perceived, and lived in. Visit Livingspace to experience these sculptural pieces in person.
